But once you have that mastered, you might want to branch out a bit and try something different.
Luckily, video poker has you covered in the variety department. Game makers are always coming up with ways to spice up the action with new features added onto basic play. In the case of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, you get two of those features for the price of one.
Multipliers Upon Multipliers
On the one hand, Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker offers you multipliers for each time that you put together a little winning streak. As you make winning combinations, your multiplier will rise each time you level up. By the time you reach the top of the ladder, you can have your winning combination multiplied by eight times the winning amount.
But that’s only the Multi-Strike part of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker. There is also the Super Times Pay part of the equation. For those who know a little about that game, you get random multipliers added to the mix at any point.
If those multipliers should somehow collide in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, you get both. In other words, you would multiply the two totals and that would be the amount applied to the hand in question. Apply that to a winning hand and you can imagine the kind of boost your bankroll will receive.
Big Bets
Can you imagine how amazing Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker would be if you were able to make a normal five-coin wager to get access to all this? Of course, no casino or gambling website would ever allow a game like that, since it would ensure that they would lose money. As a result, you have to bet a little bit more than usual to take advantage of all this.
To get the escalating multipliers in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, you have to bet up to five coins for as many levels as you want to play (up to four). Then, you have to bet an extra coin on top of that if you want the Super Times Pay multipliers added the mix. That means a max bet of 24 coins to have all of these features in play at once, which can be quite expensive for some.
In the following article, we’ll take a look at the game known as Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker. We’ll talk you through basic video poker play then look at how the different features change things up. Finally, we’ll also look at the pay tables available to you while also talking about what it takes to play the game with top-notch strategy.
Playing Basic Video Poker
When it comes down to it, Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker plays just like any other video poker game, even with all its special features. You’re still doing the same things when the cards appear on the screen. All the extra bells and whistles will fall into place all around as you make your normal decisions.
Video poker, as a whole, is one of the most advantageous games that you’ll find, from the gambler’s perspective. It takes many of the characteristics of other casino-style games and brings them together. In the end, the sum is far more beneficial than the parts.
If you’ve never played video poker before, you might not be aware of these special advantages to playing the game. Take a look at just a short list of them:
- Video poker is a one-person experience. That affords you the ultimate privacy and comfort, free of what anyone else thinks about your play.
- Video poker comes in many different varieties. We’ve already discussed how games like Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker can really change things up.
- Video poker is an easy game to learn for beginners. It really shouldn’t take you more than a few hands before you get the hang of it.
- Video poker allows you to control the action more than slot machines. With the strategic aspect of the game, you can have some control over whether you win or lose.
- Video poker is a transparent experience. Pay tables and poker probabilities leave nothing hidden about your chances of winning.
- Video poker pays back pretty well. Certainly, it pays back better than slot machines, and it even ranks pretty well with some table games that are much more difficult to play.
- Video poker plays like a charm in the online realm. Top gambling websites feature the kinds of games you can find in the casino, with all the same graphics and payback potential.
When you add all that up, you can understand why video poker is one of the most popular casino games around. If you know the basics of the game, you can now move on to where we talk about the details of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker. But if you’re new, we suggest checking out our how-to guide.
Step 1: Create Your Bankroll
You’ll need a bankroll if you’re going to play Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, or any other video poker game, for real money. The money that you put into a video poker machine will form your bankroll in a casino. If you’re playing online, you’ll need to create an account and fund that account.
The bankroll will then be rendered on the screen as either credits or coins. These units will correlate to the amount of the denomination you’re playing. For instance, at a 25-cent video poker machine, ten coins will be worth $2.50 (10 times .25).
Step 2: Make Your Bet
The betting process in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker is the same as any other video poker game in that you get to decide on the amount that you want to wager. But the amount that you can wager is far different. In most basic video poker games, you’ll be betting between one and five coins, with the five-coin bet also known as the max bet.
First of all, you have to decide how many levels (one through four) you want to bet, wagering between one and five coins for each. Then you have to decide if you want to add an extra coin per level to activate the Super Times Pay aspect of it.
That’s obviously a pretty hefty amount. Take a look at what a 24-coin bet means for each denomination:
- 1 cent = $0.24
- 5 cents = $1.20
- 10 cents = $2.40
- 25 cents = $6
- 50 cents = $12
- 1 dollar = $24
You might think that you’re better off betting less than that, either by playing less levels or not wagering the extra coin to get the Super Times Pay aspect of it. But you’ll be short-changing yourself if you do. The highest potential payback when playing Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker comes from a max bet.
If you do find that the bet is too big for your budget, we suggest lowering the denomination. That’s a better strategy than lowering the bet, which will damage your payback expectations.
Step 3: Play a Hand
Video poker closely resembles the game play of the card game known as Five-Card Draw. In both cases, you get five cards on the deal and get to either hold or discard each one of those cards. Discarded cards will be replaced on the draw to complete your hand.
When playing Five-Card Draw, you have to try to beat everybody else at the table. But when playing video poker, you only have to worry about making a winning poker combination. Although some pay tables in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker (especially those where wild cards are used) will differ, these are the core winning combinations you’ll be trying to achieve for the most part:
- Pair of jacks or better
- Two pair
- Three of a kind
- Straight (five cards of consecutive rank, like 3-4-5-6-7)
- Flush (five cards of same suit)
- Full house (three of a kind and two pair in the same hand)
- Four of a kind
- Straight flush (straight with five cards of same suit)
- Royal flush (ten, jack, queen, king, and ace of the same suit)
This list the hands that are easiest to achieve and generally pay the least. As you move down the list, you’ll encounter rarer hands that pay more. When you make your decisions in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, you have to judge when it’s time to go for the safer, lower-paying hands and when it’s time to take the chance on making one of the more lucrative hands.
The Deal
Most of the pay tables in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker use a 52-card simulated deck. (Some, like Joker Poker, use 53, adding a wild card). In any case, each deal that you receive will be random.
In other words, don’t try to guess which cards will show up on the screen as your deal based on what has happened in previous hands. Your chances of receiving any specific cards never change from hand to hand.
The Decision
You have to decide which of the five cards you’ll hold and which you’ll discard. When you hold a card, that will be part of your final five-card hand. Meanwhile, discarded cards will be replaced by others from the deck.
When making your decisions, remember that the deck will have 47 cards left in it for the draw (48 in Joker Poker-type games). That will impact your probabilities of drawing the cards you need. Always remember the two factors when making your decision:
- The likelihood of drawing the cards you need to make a winning combination
- The potential payback of the winning combinations you might have a chance of achieving
The Draw
Once you’ve indicating which cards you want to hold, if any, you’ll press the button to start the draw. Any cards you haven’t indicated will be replaced by others from the deck. Just like the deal, this will be a random process.
After the completion of the draw, the hand is over. If you’ve made a winning combination, your bankroll will be credited with the proper amount. To play another hand, you’ll just make another bet and start the process all over again.
Playing Multi-Strike Super Times Pay Video Poker
Now that you have the basics of video poker down, it’s time to talk about how Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker adds to that framework. For the sake of the explanation, we’re going to assume a max bet of 24 coins. That would put both all four levels of Multi-Strike into play as well as the Super Times Pay multipliers.
Multi-Strike Levels
When you see the screen for Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, you’ll see room for four different hands of video poker. These are the different levels, and you’ll be able to play them if you make bets on them. You’ll start on the bottom and, hopefully, work your way up.
There are two ways you can move up a level:
- Form one of the winning combinations on the pay table
- Get a “free ride” card
Each time one of these two things happens. You’ll move up a level. At each level of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker is a different multiplier:
- Level 1 = 1x
- Level 2 = 2x
- Level 3 = 4x
- Level 4 = 8x
The multipliers work as you might expect. Let’s say that you reached Level 3 and formed a winning combination that normally pays 10 coins. Since you’re reached the 4x multiplier, you would instead receive:
4 times 10 = 40 coins
If you should receive a free ride card, you’ll move up whether or not you form a winning combination on that level. You’ll see this card flash briefly on the screen briefly on the deal, before it is replaced with a normal card from the deck. Should you get the free ride card and lose that hand, you would move up, but the multiplier at the present level would go unused.
At any point that you fail to meet one of the two requirements for moving up, you’ll drop back to Level 1 and start the process all over again. Once you reach Level 4, you will head back down to Level 1 on the next hand, regardless of whether you win or lose on Level 4. In other words, there’s no carryover.
As you might be able to figure out, the goal with the Multi-Strike aspect of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker is to try to put together a winning streak. If you can move all the way up to the top level, you can really do some real damage. And that’s before you even factor in the Super Times Pay part of it.
Super Times Pay Multipliers
If you’ve made the max bet of six coins per hand in Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker, it means that you’ve also enacted the Super Times Pay multipliers. These multipliers will show up at random and can appear at any level. You won’t have any way of knowing when these will show up.
You can expect the following three multipliers at any point from this part of the Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker game:
- 2x
- 3x
- 5x
When you get these multipliers, they will be multiplied to the multiplier that you’ve already achieved at the level you happen to have reached. For example, imagine that you’ve reached the highest level of the Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker ladder. As you hit the button for the deal, you might see a 5x flash where the multipliers are indicated on the left side of each hand.
Remember that you already have an 8x in place because you reached the top level. That means your total multiplier will be as follows:
8x times 5x = 40x
Imagine what this kind of multiplier would yield for a high-paying hand. Even if you achieved a modest combination like a high pair, a multiplier like that would boost that to a level that you would normally only be paid back if you made a rare hand like four of a kind, a straight flush, or even a royal flush.
You have to keep in mind that these Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker multipliers are only worthwhile to you if you can match them up with a winning combination. For example, if you reached that 40x level (which is as high a multiplier as you can achieve in the game), it will be worth zero if you come up empty on that level. After all, any number times zero is zero.
Still, when you add the multipliers into the game as Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker does, it really makes for an exciting ride. There is nothing in video poker quite like putting a winning combination together with a multiplier. Your bankroll will surge impressively whenever that happens.
Multi-Strike Super Times Pay Video Poker Pay Tables
Another one of the exciting parts of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker is how it lets you choose between most of the top pay tables in video poker. You can play the same table over and over if you have a favorite. Or you can sample different ones each time you play.
By choosing the pay table, you get to help control what your play will be like. For example, if you choose Jacks or Better, you’ll be helping to control some of the volatility of Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker. It will help you play longer on a smaller bankroll.
Or you can choose to raise that volatility, and your potential single-hand payback, by trying a Bonus or wild card pay table. Take a look at the pay tables in play when you try out Multi-Strike Super Times Pay video poker. Keep in mind that the listed tables are generally among the highest-paying available, and you’re not guaranteed to find tables that are quite at those levels.
